Prahran High School is a bespoke designed contemporary school and is integrated into Prahran’s thriving education and arts precinct. Spanning five levels that encircle a vast light-filled central atrium, Prahran High School is truly an innovative and unique school campus. Their curriculum, approach to pedagogy and culture works in harmony with the design of the school building.
Nestled in the creative, urban heart of Prahran and Windsor, Prahran High School proudly reflects the diversity, aspiration and entrepreneurial spirit of their community. At heart, their school is a school for students, in every way. The school strives to develop positive young leaders who will graduate from Prahran High School ready to make a positive contribution to our community – locally and globally.
Prahran High School required a full website redesign to support their digital growth, drive more organic audiences via search engines, leverage digital content to boost engagement, and deploy content marketing to build brand awareness and authority.
Nathan reached out to Beyond Web to work with them to develop a reasonably simple yet contemporary and distinctive school website. They needed a cost-efficient solution as budget was naturally a consideration and the site needed the possibility to be expanded/enhanced in the future. The website needed to provide an overview of information on the school and connect people to the school. They wanted the website to showcase the distinct branding of PHS including an animated home page, lots of quality photos, sensible tab layout and links to Facebook/Instagram.
The Beyond Web team worked closely with Prahran High School to develop a professional and premium website that would represent the quality of their school, giving them a unique and confident presence through the use of bold typography and strong colours. Beyond Web utilised the flexibility of the WordPress CMS platform to develop a website that can be easily maintained and upgraded. Using ACF (Advanced Custom Fields) to allow Prahran High School staff to update their content and customise their layout easily this in turn saved on development time cutting down the overall budget.
